Requirements
Requirements for the Gas Turbine Operation & Maintenance Technician role include:
In depth knowledge of the GE LM6000 / LM2500 Turbine families
Minimum 10 years relevant operation & maintenance experience on LM6000 / 2500 Turbine and can demonstrate technical knowledge with references
High level of fluency in verbal, oral and written English is a must
High level of communication skills
Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
Responsible for diagnosing errors or problems and determines appropriate solutions
Assists in documentation of all field service activities
Must Have
In depth operation knowledge of GE LM6000/LM2500 Turbine families with references
Working level fluency in verbal, oral and written English
Responsibilities
Communicate with Field Service Manager, Resource Managers, and EHS Managers to update job status and ensure project success on a daily basis.
Improve field service / downtime quality using correct technical documentation / guidelines.
Operational technical support and start-up after maintenance activities.
Before starting maintenance, to request supply materials and tool requirements, to check the incoming material, to start maintenance after making sure that it is not missing.
Ensuring that maintenance activities start and progress in accordance with the manual and mandatory technical document
To prepare a technical report of all work done during and after the maintenance process, to regularly report the daily report to the Service Manager
