We are looking to hire a Heavy Duty Turbine Technical Advisor that will take on responsibilities in the projects that we conduct all around the world.
Requirements
Requirements for the Mechanical Technical Field Advisor role include:
In depth knowledge of the GE Frame 9E, Frame 6 and Frame 5 Turbine technologies
Minimum 10 relevant projects on GE Frame 9E, Frame 6 and Frame 5 Turbine technologies (specifically on hot gas path, major overhaul, borescope inspection, alignment) and can demonstrate technical knowledge with references and certificates
Offshore certification preferred
High level of fluency in verbal, oral and written English is a must
High level of communication and leadership skills
Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
Responsible for diagnosing errors or problems and determines appropriate solutions.
Leads in documentation of all field service activities.
Uses ERP and CRM systems to report work progress
Must Have
In depth knowledge of GE Frame 9E, Frame 6 and Frame 5 Turbine technologies proven with projects and references
Working level fluency in verbal, oral and written English
Responsibilities
- Main point of advisory for all mechanical issues regarding the turbine
- Advise customers on mechanical issues to ensure best available technical solutions
- Liaise with customers, vendors, consultants and other third parties to ensure optimal turbine operation
- Act as a bridge between customer technical team and Pro-Per Management to ensure the optimum customer experience
