Requirements
Requirements for the Scada Supervisor role include:
Minimum of first degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of substation SCADA commissioning experience
Experience with ZIV Automation product
Experience with power system studies is preferred
Experience with industrial communication protocol, such as IEC61850, Ethernet/IP etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and make recommendations
Responsibilities
Install, trouble shoot and test electromechanical and electronic relays, RTU’s and associated equipment.
Assist Scada Engineer to install and maintain communication devices for SCADA/Substation communications.
Work with substation department installing and terminating wiring of relays, RTU’s, PT’s/CT’s and other related substation equipment that would connect to the RTU during new construction or system upgrade, may include installing conduit and pulling wire.
Assist substation personnel during commissioning with Double power factor, SFRA, TTR, CT tester, micro-ohmmeter and other related substation test equipment.
Any other related substation duties as assigned.
